We have finalized our Louisville 2020 conference for September 22-24th. Kara Hatzai has secured the Brown Hotel and the Churchill Downs racing day, as well as all side trips and transportation. Unfortunately, the 'Come From Away’ musical has no more Louisville dates for the remainder of the year. This challenge opened up an opportunity for a new Wednesday night event, so we will have a dinner cruise and raffle on The Belle of Louisville, the largest paddle boat in the US. Their beautiful ballroom can hold almost 300 people! It promises to be a spectacular Wednesday night event.

Early conference registration will open July 15th! Due to uncertain times and the extra financial burdens many of us are dealing with, we have decided to extend early registration all the way to August 19th. At that time, regular registration will be just $20 more, and will end September 4th. That is the final date that all the numbers are due to the venues.

There will be no late registration this year in a continued effort to keep costs lower for members. We have received a generous donation from UPS which has allowed us to have a complete conference cost, including all events, of $250 per member.

Guest registration will be the same cost as member registration, as they will be partaking in all the same activities and catered events as members. During our business meeting, they will get to tour the amazing Louisville Slugger Museum!

If a spouse, family member, or friend wants to participate in only one or two of the events, we are still offering the à la carte options.

  1. An additional guest to the day-one cocktail reception Tuesday evening is $50. This event will be on the rooftop deck of The Brown Hotel and will feature light appetizers.
  3. The dinner boat cruise Wednesday night is $100 per extra guest. A full dinner will be served during a three hour cruise on the beautiful Ohio River.
  5. The final à la carte event is the Churchill Downs derby fun day, and is $75 for each additional guest. We will be on the top floor with large balcony views directly over the finish line of the track, and full dinner is included.

Looking forward to seeing many of you in September!

We're off to the Emerald Isle in 2021!

The DublinConferencewill be the week ofSeptember 20-24th, 2021.We are working on side trips for the weekends both before and after the main conference events. Pre-conference, we'll be heading north to Belfast and the Giant's Causeway. Post-conference, to the stunning West Coast, Galway and surrounds. Our beautiful hotel in Dublin is The Davenport, a historical building, walking distance from city center. We're planning a trip to EPIC - an award winning informative 'museum' about emigration and the Irish diaspora. And we'll squeeze in a traditional music evening and possibly a pint of Guinness! So mark your calendars and plan to join us in the Fall/Autumn 2021! - Liz Jennings Clark, Dublin Conference Planner
